Plain White T's เริ่มก่อตัวกันที่ชานเมือง Chicago โดยมี
Tom Higgenson, เป็นนักร้องนำ

หลังจากตัดซิงเกิลเพลง "Hey There Delilah" มาจากอัลบั้ม Every Second Counts และเปลี่ยนสังกัดมาอยู่กับ Hollywood Records จึงทำให้เพลงของเขาวิ่งขึ้นจากอันดับ
ที่ 16 ของสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว ขึ้นมาอยู่ อันดับ 6 ของThe Billboard Hot 100 ในสัปดาห์นี้ (23 มิถุนายน 2007)

Delilah ในเนื้อเพลงนี้เป็นชื่อคนที่มีตัวตนจริงๆ เธอเป็นนักศึกษาที่มหาวิทยาลัย Columbia University และเธอยังอยู่ในความรู้สึกของเขาตลอดมา
