Herman's Hermits วงดนตรีร้อคจากเกาะอังกฤษในยุค 60s,ก่อตั้งวงกันที่เมืองแมนเชสเตอร์ เมื่อปี  1963. สิ่งที่เป็นจุดขายของพวกเขาคือเพลงที่ฟังง่ายๆเข้าถึงคนฟังได้มากกว่าเพลงจากวงอังกฤษอื่นๆ ที่มาของ Herman ชื่อวง นั้น นักร้องนำ ปีเตอร์ นูน ซึ่งเป็นอีกจุดขาย อย่างดีของวง เพราะแค่อายุ 15 เขาได้เป็นดาราเด็กของรายการทีวีแล้ว  เดิมเขาใช้ชื่อว่า Peter Novak. และเปลี่ยนมาเป็น Herman และเป็น Herman and The Hermits, สุดท้ายจึงกลายเป็นชื่อวง Herman's Hermits. เนื้อหาของเพลงนี้กล่าวถึง บนฟลอร์เต้นรำที่ใครๆกำลังคลอเคลียกัน  ชายหนุ่มบังเอิญเหลือบไปเห็นแฟนเก่าคนที่เคยหักอกเขามาก่อน อยู่ที่  ณ มุมหนึ่งของงาน เธอผู้ที่ยังเป็นเพื่อนที่ประทับอยู่ในความทรงจำของเขาตลอดมา เลยอยากขอให้ดนตรีที่กำลังบรรเลงอยู่ ได้เล่นเพลงโปรดของเขาเพื่อเธอ ขอให้เพลงโดนใจเธอ เผื่อเธอจะเห็นใจกลับมาคืนดีกับเขา
