สาวรุ่นคนหนึ่งที่หันมาเอาดีทางอาชีพศิลปิน เธอบอกว่าใครๆก็กล่าวกันว่าในเมืองนั้นเต็มไปด้วยแสงสีอันวิไล ซึ่งเธอเองก็ไม่รู้หรอก รู้แต่ว่ามันไกลจากบ้านกว่า 2,000 ไมล์ ซึ่งมีข้อความที่นำมาจากจดหมายฉบับหนึ่งที่เธอมีไปถึงแม่และพ่อของเธอ โดยเล่าว่า

โปรดส่งเงินมาให้หน่อย หนูกำลังถังแตก นี่เรื่องจริงนะไม่ใช่เรื่องตลก หนูไม่ได้ต้องการมากมาย ขอแค่พอใช้ โปรดอย่าได้กังวลกับหนูเลยนะ หนูยังสบายดีอยู่ ตอนนี้กำลังร้องเพลงอยู่ในบาร์จ้ะ มันถึงเวลาแล้วที่หนูจะต้องสานฝันให้เป็นจริง หนูรักพ่อรักแม่มากที่สุดในโลก

ตอนท้ายของเพลง ผู้บรรยายบอกว่าเธอคงไปสู่ฝันได้แล้ว และอีกฉบับหนึ่งตามมาทีหลัง มีข้อความดังนี้
"พ่อจ๋าแม่จ๋า"
หนูจะส่งเงินให้นะ หนูรวยแล้ว นี่เรื่องจริง ไม่ใช่เรื่องตลก หนูมีมากพอที่จะส่งไปให้พ่อแม่ใช้นะ โปรดอย่าได้กังวลกับหนูอีกเลย คืนนี้หนูร้องเพลงอยู่ที่ The Ritz แม่รู้ไหม ที่นี่มันสร้างฝันหนูให้เป็นจริงแล้วนะ

นักร้องคนนี้เธอประกันได้ว่าทั้งพ่อแม่ของเธอต้องมั่นใจกับความเป็นอยู่ใหม่ที่ดีขึ้นของเธอ เธอยังคงรักเขา......มากกว่าสิ่งอื่นใดในโลกนี้
"Baby Girl" ซิงเกิลของกลุ่มวงดนตรีอเมริกัน คันทรีมิวสิคที่ชื่อ "Sugarland" ออกวางจำหน่ายเมื่อเดือนกรกฎาคม 2004 เพลงนี้ไต่ขึ้นถึงอันดับ 2 ของชาร์ทเพลงThe Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (Hot Country Songs) เมื่อเดือนเมษายน 2005 อยู่ในอันดับนานถึง 46 สัปดาห์ นับเป็นเพลงใหม่ที่อยู่ในอันดับนานที่สุด ในรอบ 14 ปี
ก่อนที่จะก้าวมาเป็นวงทริโอ Sugarland เคยสร้างผลงาน Twice the Speed of Life ออกวางจำหน่ายไปเมื่อ 26 ตุลาคม 2004.
วง Sugarland ถือกำเนิดขึ้นเมื่อปี 2003 ประกอบไปด้วย นักร้องนักแต่งเพลง Jennifer Nettles ร้องนำ กับ Kristian Bush ร้องเสียงประสาน และเล่นแมนดาริน กับ กีตาร์อะคูสติค. ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้พวกเขามีกัน 3 คน เล่นเพลงในแนวโฟล์ค ร้อค โดยมีผู้ช่วยร้องเสียงประสานและเล่นกีตาร์อีกคน เธอคือ Kristen Hall แต่ได้อลาออกไปเขียนเพลงอยู่ที่บ้าน เมื่อปี 2005
ปลายปี 2005 พวกเขาได้ออกรายการทีวีร่วมกับ Bon Jovi ในสไตล์เพลงคันทรี่ ทำให้มีผลงานเพลงขึ้นอันดับ 1 จึงออกทัวร์ในอเมริกาและคานาดา จนได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าเป็น The Best New Artist Grammy จากเพลง"Something More" เมื่อครั้งฉลองครบรอบ 48 ปีของรางวัล Annual Grammy Awards ในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2006.
และเมื่อนิตยสารบิลบอร์ดเป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดงานประกาศรางวัล Billboard Touring Awards 2007 ครั้งที่ 4 นั้น ผลการประกาศรางวัล"การแสดงสดรวมศิลปินยอดเยี่ยม"ในครั้งนี้ก็มีชื่อของวง"ซูการ์แลนด์" รวมอยู่ด้วย พร้อมกับศิลปินวงอื่นๆอย่าง Kenny Chesney ,Pat Green ,Brooks & Dunn และ Sara Evans
