"Theme from A Summer Place" คำร้องโดย Mack Discant ดนตรีโดย Max Steiner, เป็นเพลงเมื่อปี 1959 และนำไปสร้างเป็นหนังในชื่อเดียวกับเพลงคือ  A Summer Place, แสดงนำโดย Sandra Dee และ Troy Donahue. เป็นอีกเพลงที่โด่งดังมาก มีความสละสลวยของทำนอง จนทำให้หนังเรื่องนี้เป็นเรื่องแรกที่คว้ารางวัล  Grammy Award for Record of the Year เมื่อปี 1961. และติดอันดับ 1 ในอเมริกายาวนานถึง 9 สัปดาห์ และยังเป็นเพลงบรรเลงเพลงแรกที่คว้ารางวัล Record of the Year

A Summer Place เป็นเรื่องที่ถูกแต่งไว้เมื่อปี 1958 โดย Sloan Wilson ,เจ้าของผลงาน The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit.

ผลงานเพลงบรรเลงของ Percy Faith เป็นเวอร์ชั่นที่แพร่หลายที่สุด ได้รับความนิยมมากเมื่อต้นปี 1960  เป็นเพลงอันดับ 1 ของชาร์ตเพลง The  Billboard Hot 100 ของอเมริกาและถูกบันทึกไว้ว่าเป็นเพลงอันดับ 1 ที่ติดชาร์ตของบิลบอร์ดนานที่สุด  แต่เป็นเพลงอันดับ 2 ในอังกฤษ  อันดับ 1 ในอิตาลีในชื่อที่เรียกเป็นภาษาอิตาเลียนว่า "Scandalo Al Sole".

Faith ได้รับรางวัล  Grammy Award ในสาขา Record of the Year ในปี 1961 ซึ่งเป็นเพลงประกอบหนังที่ได้รางวัลนี้  และ Faith นำกลับมาบันทึกใหม่อีกครั้งในปี  1969, ในปี 1976 มีเวอร์ชั่นดิสโก้ ออกมาโดยใช้ชื่อว่า "Summer Place 76".

 ในปี 2008, ผลงานที่เป็นออริจินอลของ Faith ติดอันดับ 18 ของ The Billboard's top 100  ในสาขา The first fifty years of the Hot 100 chart.


 ยังมีนักร้องและวงดนตรีต่างๆนำเพลงนี้ไปทำใหม่ และขั้นอันดับของบิลบอร์ดอีกหลายครั้ง เช่น Billy Vaughn's 1960 อัลบั้ม Number-One . ในแนวของ R&B เป็นเพลงอันดับ 2 ของ  The Billboard R&B Singles Chart. และยังมีผลงานของ  Dick Roman, The Tornados , ส่วนวงประสานเสียงเพราะๆอย่าง The Lettermen ทำออกมาในปี  1965 ติดอันดับ 16 ของ The Billboard Hot 100 ส่วนวงดนตรีในแนวบรรเลงอย่าง The Ventures นำมาทำในปี 1969.

 ผลงานจากเสียงร้องของ Andy Williams ที่ทำในปี  1962  หรือแนวเพลงแจ๊สจากเสียงร้องของ Julie London. ในอัลบั้ม Our Fair Lady ในปี 1965.
