Womanizer เพลงจากผลงานของราชินีเพลงป้อปชาวอเมริกัน Britney Spears. จากอัลบั้มที่ 6 ของเธอ Circus. เพลง "Womanizer" นี้ทั้งแต่งและโปรดิวซ์โดย Nikesha Briscoe และ Rapheal Akinyemi ทีมงานจาก Atlanta

เป็นซิงเกิลแรกของอัลบั้มที่เพิ่งคลอดมาเมื่อวันที่ 26 กันยายน 2008  โดยถูกนำไปเปิดครั้งแรกทางรายการวิทยุ และออกวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการในสหรัฐอเมริกา เมื่อวันที่ 7 ตุลาคม ที่ผ่านมานี้เองโดยวางขายในรูปแบบของซิงเกิล และในวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน จะออกวางขายใน ประเทศออสเตรเลีย  ในประเทศเยอรมันจะออกวันที่ 14 พฤศจิกายน    ส่วนในอังกฤษจะออกวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน

แค่สัปดาห์แรกที่ออกสู่ตลาดเพลง ก็วิ่งฉิวแบบมาแรงแซงโค้งเข้าป้ายอันดับ 1 ชาร์ทเพลงของบิลบอร์ดทันที เพราะจากการจัดอันดับ The Billboard Hot 100 .ในวันที่ 25 ตุลาคม 2008 นี้ เพลงอันดับ 1 คือเพลง Womanlizer ดับรัศมีเพลงอันดับ 1 ของ T.I. โดยเบียดเพลง "Live Your Life" ของเขาหล่นลงไปแล้ว

จากการที่ปล่อยจำหน่ายโดยการให้ Download แค่สัปดาห์แรก เพลงนี้ก็ถูกโหลดไปแล้วถึง   286,000 ครั้ง ทำให้ครองอันดับ 1 ทันที และถูกจัดเป็น The biggest opening-week Tally ที่ร้องโดยผู้หญิง ตั้งแต่ Nielsen SoundScan เคยทำได้เมื่อปี 2003, หรือที่ Mariah Carey เคยทำไว้กับเพลง"Touch My Body" แต่ครั้งนี้นั้นเป็นการทำลายสถิติซิงเกิลในชาร์ทเพลง The Billboard Hot 100 ของเธอเองหลังจากที่เคยฝากผลงานไว้แล้วในเพลง "Baby One More Time"
หลายปีที่ผ่านมาเป็นช่วงชีวิตที่มืดมนของ บริทนีย์ นักร้องสาวเจ้าปัญหา หลังจากที่เธอห่างหายไปจากวงการเพลง แต่ปีนี้เธอก็ได้กลับมาผงาดบนเวที และชื่อเสียงของเธอเริ่มกลับคืนมาจากการที่เธอคว้า 3 รางวัลจากเอ็มทีวี ทั้งมิวสิกวีดีโอศิลปินหญิงยอดเยี่ยม มิวสิกวีดีโอเพลงป๊อบยอดเยี่ยม และมิวสิกวีดีโอแห่งปี  ซึ่งทั้งหมดล้วนมาจากผลงานเพลง Piece of Me ทั้งสิ้น โดยที่เธอสามารถเอาชนะนักร้องสาวอย่าง "มารายห์ แครี่ ริฮานน่า" และ "พุชชี่แคท ดอลล์ส" ได้สำเร็จ ซึ่งเป็นครั้งแรกตลอดอาชีพการเป็นนักร้องของเธอที่เพิ่งได้รับรางวัลจากรายการนี้ จากการจัดรายการครั้งล่าสุด ในครั้งที่ 25 ณ พาราเมาท์ สตูดิโอ ลอส แองเจลิส

 ณ วันนี้ Britney Spears ประสบความสำเร็จกับ “Womanizer” ที่ขึ้นถึงอันดับ 1 ของชาร์ทเพลงThe Billboard Hot 100 ซึ่งเป็นซิงเกิลแรกจากอัลบั้มที่ 6 ในครั้งนี้นั้น จึงถือเป็นการฉลองวันเกิดให้กับตัวเองในวันที่ 2 ธันวาคมที่จะถึงนี้ด้วย
