Up, up, and away.....           "คุณอยากนั่งบอลลูนแสนสวยไหม ล่องลอยไปท่ามกลางดวงดาวด้วยกัน คุณกับฉีนเราบินได้ ทะยานขึ้นสู่ฟ้า"  "Up,Up and Away" คว้ารางวัล Grammy Award ปี 1967 ถึง 4 รางวัล ทั้งสาขาร้อง สาขากลุ่มดนตรี การบันทึกยอดเยี่ยม และเพลงแห่งปี เป็นผลงานของวง The Fifth Dimension ที่มาแรงมากกับเพลง  "Up,Up and Away".   Up, Up and Away เพลงเก่าในอดีตเมื่อปี 1967 ที่ประพันธ์โดย Jimmy Webb ผลงานการบันทึกไว้โดยวง The 5th Dimension, เป็นเพลงฮิตในอันดับ7 ของ The U.S. Pop Singles cha rและยังเป็นเพลงที่มียอดจำหน่ายดีในแคนาดา อันดับ 9 ของ Billboard's Easy Listening Top 40.ซึ่งเป็นเพลงที่ 2 ของพวกเขาที่ได้ขึ้นถึงอันดับ TOP 40   นอกจากนั้นยังมีวง The Johnny Mann Singers วง The Impressions  และ Mrs. Miller  นำมา cover ใหม่ ก็ยังได้รับความนิยมอยู่ จนกลายมาเป็นเพลงประกอบทั้งในหนังและในรายการทีวี ส่วนในเมืองไทยมาฮือฮาเมื่อเพลงนี้ถูกนำมาเป็นเพลงโฆษณาของ Pan Am (Pan American World Airways) สายการบินชื่อดังแห่งประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ที่ให้บริการเฉพาะประเทศอเมริกา ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1930 และปิดตัวลงในปี 1991 จากนั้นได้กลับมาดำเนินการใหม่อีกครั้งในปี 1996 โดยมุ่งเน้นเป็นสายการบินต้นทุนต่ำ   ซึ่งการโฆษณาของเขานั้นชูคำขวัญในเรื่องของประสบการณ์ว่า "At Pan Am, experience makes the difference".และในช่วงปี 1970 ประเทศออสเตรเลียก็มีการนำเอาเพลงนี้ไปใช้โฆษณาสายการบิน TAA (Trans Australian Airlines) ด้วยการชูคำขวัญแห่งมิตรภาพว่า "Up, up and away, with TAA, the friendly, friendly way."   เล่ากันว่า Webb คนแต่งเพลงนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากเพื่อนของเขาเอง William F. ในการประชาสัมพันธ์เพลงนี้ในตอนนั้น โดยอาศัยคลื่นวิทยุ KMEN ส่วนสมาชิกของวง The 5th Dimension คือ Florence LaRue,เข้าพิธีแต่งงานหมู่ฉลองความสำเร็จของเพลงนี้เมื่อฤดูร้อนในปี 1969 บนบัลลูน ส่วน.Billy Davis Jr. และ Marilyn McCoo นักร้องของวงThe 5th Dimension พบรักและเข้าพิธีแต่งงานกันในปี 1969.และเมื่อปี 2004,ทั้งคู่ได้เล่าเบื้องหลังความรักของพวกเขาที่ได้ขึ้นไปทำพิธีแต่งงานกันบนบัลลูนในหนังสือขื่อ Up, Up, and Away: How We Found Love, Faith, and Lasting Marriage in the Entertainment World.
