"The Climb" ซิงเกิลที่ 4 จากซาวด์แทรกซ์หนังเรื่อง Hannah Montana ในหนังที่เธอเองแสดงนำ เพลงออกในแนวคันทรี่ตามที่เธอถนัด ออกวางจำหน่ายไปเมื่อ 9 มีนาคม 2009 ได้ขึ้นชาร์ทเพลงป้อปของ The Billboard Pop 100 .ติดอันดับ 48 ของชาร์ทเพลง the Hot Country Songs ประจำสัปดาห์ที่ 14 มีนาคม 2009. สัปดาห์ต่อมา ก็ขึ้นไปอยู่ในอันดับที่ 6 ทำให้เธอมีซิงเกิลที่ติดอันดับ TOP 10 ของสหรัฐอเมริกา สูงกว่าเพลงเก่าๆของเธอที่เคยติดอันดับมาแล้วอย่าง "7 Things" และ See You Again

Miley Cyrus เป็นทั้งนักแสดง นักร้อง นักแต่งเพลงสาวชาวอเมริกัน ที่หลายๆคนรู้จักเธอในชื่อของการแสดงว่า Miley Stewart จากการที่เธอรับบทเป็นนางเอกเรื่องแฮนน่าห์ มอนทาน่า ซึ่งเป็นรายการภาพยนตร์โทรทัศน์สำหรับเด็กจากอเมริกา ออกอากาศทาง Disney Channel ในสหรัฐอเมริกา เป็นเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับเด็กสาวชื่อ Miley Stewart นำแสดงโดยเธอเอง Miley Cyrus

เธอประสบความสำเร็จมากเมื่อเธอรับบทเป็น Hannah Montana นักร้องในเรื่องทำให้เธอมีโอกาสได้ร้องเพลงลงแผ่น CD ถึง 8 เพลง โดยเฉพาะในเพลงเปิดรายการ ว่ากันว่ารายการนี้มีคนดูสูงถึง 5.4 ล้านคน
