 "Just Dance" เพลง Dance-Pop ที่ร้องนำโดย Lady GaGa จากอัลบั้มแรกของเธอที่ชื่อ The Fame. ซึ่งเป็นบทประพันธ์ของเธอเอง ร่วมกับ Colby O'Donis, เจ้าของเสียงประสานให้กับ  Akon,

เป็นเพลงที่โดดเด่นมาจากรายการทางคลื่นวิทยุในอังกฤษเมื่อปลายตุลาคม 2008 โดยที่ตัววีดิโอออกจำหน่ายในอังกฤษ

อย่างไรก็ตาม แม้วางแผนไว้ว่าจะเปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดเพลงนี้ได้ในวันที่ 29 ธันวาคม  โดยแผ่น CD จะออกวางจำหน่ายในวันที่ 12 มกราคม 2009. แต่เพลงนี้ดังไกลไปติดอันดับ 1 ในออสเตรเลีย และคานาดา ขึ้นชาร์ตเพลงของ The Billboard Hot 100 ของอเมริกาในอันดับที่ 7 (6 ธันวาคม 2008)

 "Just Dance" ถูกแรปเปอร์คนดัง Kardinal Offishall.นำไปรีมิกซ์ใหม่กับเพลงเก่งของเขา Dangerous, ในจังหวะและทำนองที่ใกล้เคียงต้นฉบับ โดยให้ชื่อว่า "Just Dance: Remixes".

บทความใน HX Magazine,นั้น Lady Gaga อธิบายไว้ว่า "Darragh Hughes" เป็นอีกคนที่ร่วมประพันธ์เพลงนี้กับเธอด้วย แต่ไม่ได้เอ่ยชื่อให้เครดิตไว้



Joanne Stefani Germanotta เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 20 มีนาคม 1986 ใช้ชื่อบนเวทีการแสดงว่า Lady GaGa, เธอเป็นนักร้อง นักแต่งเพลง นักดนตรีสาว ชาวอเมริกัน ชอบการร้องเพลงมาตั้งแต่เด็กๆกับผลงานที่ชื่นชอบของ Cyndi Lauper และ Michael Jackson.

แค่ 4 ขวบ, Lady GaGa เล่นเปียนโนได้เองด้วยพรสวรรค์โดยไม่ต้องเรียน ย่างเข้าวัยรุ่นจึงได้หัดแต่งเพลงเอง.อายุแค่ 14 เปิดโชว์ผลงานของตัวเองได้แล้วที่  New York’s Bitter End, อายุแค่ 17 เป็น 1 ใน 20 คน ที่สามารถจบการศึกษาทางโปรแกรมของปรมาจารย์ทางด้านดนตรี  Clive Davis Program ที่โรงเรียนสอนศิลปะ Tisch School ของ NYU.

จากนั้นออกเล่นดนตรีตามคลับ ค้นหาตัวเองอยู่พักเดียวก็หันไปเขียนเพลงตามแนวที่เธอถนัดคือในแนวของ rock'n roll underground: pop music.ในปี 2006, เริ่มทำงานขั้นโปรดิวเซอร์ กับเพลงฮิตเพลงแรกของเธอคือ "Beautiful Dirty Rich",

กลายมาเป็น Lady GaGa ซึ่งที่มาของชื่อนี้เธอได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากเพลงที่ชื่อว่า Radio Ga-Ga ของวง Queen.หลังจากได้ร่วมงานกับฮิปฮอปคนดังอย่าง Akon จึงแยกตัวมาทำผลงานของตัวเอง

แจ้งเกิดเต็มตัวกับอัลบั้มThe Fame ด้วยลุ้คของสาวซ่าสุดๆอีกคนหนึ่งของวงการเพลง ชนิดที่เรียกกันว่าสุดเปรี้ยวเกินบรรยาย ทั้งการแต่งตัว และการร้องบนเวที แต่ผลงานนี้ Just Dance ขึ้นอันดับ 1 ใน คานาดาและออสเตรเลีย ส่วนที่ ในอเมริกาบ้านเกิด ได้ขึ้นถึงอันดับ 2 ของ The Billboard Hot Dance
