นอกจาก Greenback Dollar ที่เป็นผลงานของThe Kingston Trio แล้ว ยังมีผลงานของ Hoyt Axton นักแต่งเพลงจาก  Duncan, Oklahoma ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของบทประพันธ์เพลงนี้ และเป็นลุกชายของ Mae Boren Axton เจ้าของบทเพลง"Heartbreak Hotel" ที่โด่งดังในยุคนั้น ซึ่งมีส่วนร่วมในการช่วยผลักดันจน Hoyt Axton กลายเป็นศิลปินที่ใครๆยอมรับในฝีมือการประพันธ์เพลง ผลงานที่โดดเด่นของเขาที่แต่งให้ศิลปินต่างๆร้องจนมีชื่อเสียงได้แก่เพลง Never Been To Spain, Lightning Bar Blues  เป็นค้น

เป็นคำที่ใช้กันโดยทั่วไป หมายถึง U.S. Dollar หรือค่าเงินดอลล่าร์สหรัฐอเมริกา ครั้งหนึ่งเคยใช้เป็นคำแสลง แต่ปัจจุบันมีการใช้อย่างเป็นทางการ แม้แต่ในแวดวงธนาคารและการค้าระดับโลก
