Diddy ฟอร์มวงจากรายการเรียลลิตี้โชว์ Making The band (ทางช่องเอ็มทีวีโครงการ 3) ที่ดังมากและเป็นโครงการที่เคยสร้างกลุ่มศิลปินให้ก้องชื่อมาแล้ว  แดนิตี้ เคน 5 สาวที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกมาจากหญิงสาวมากกว่า 300 คนที่มากความสามารถที่เข้ามาประกวดโดยทีมงานจาก music mogul และ Bad Boy Records ของราชาฮิพฮอพ P.Diddy หลังจบโครงการเขาเซ็นสัญญาและทำอัลบั้มให้พวกเธอทันที Danity Kane ประกอบด้วย Aubrey, Aundrea, D.Woods, Dawn และ Shannon พวกเธอทั้งร้องและเต้นเป็นงานหลักจากซี่รี่ส์ที่พวกเธอเข้าร่วมแข่งขันกันทั้ง Season งานนี้ พี ดิดดี้ หมายมั่นปั้นมือให้พวกเธอทำอัลบั้ม และโด่งดังตามความมุ่งมั่นที่พวกเธอไฝ่ฝันที่จะก้าวขึ้นไปมีชื่อเสียงอย่างรุ่นพี่อย่าง Destiny's Child และเมื่อทุกอย่างเสร็จสิ้นกระบวนการพวกเธอก็มีมีซิงเกิ้ลแรก "Show Stopper" ที่เคยติด TOP 10มาแล้วโดยเพลงนี้ได้ Yung Joc ศิลปินรุ่นพี่ในค่ายแบดบอย เรคคอร์ด มาร่วมแจม และอัลบั้มชุดนี้ยังได้ โปรดิวเซอร์มือทองของวงการฮิปฮอปที่อยู่เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จของศิลปินดังๆมากมาย อย่าง Timbaland, Scott Storch, Mario Winans อัลบั้มที่ 2 ของเธอ ออกในปี 2008  มีซิงเกิ้ลแรก Damaged ที่เป็นผลงานการประพันธ์ของ Shannon "Slam" Lawrence, Micayle McKinney, Jeremy Reeves, Ray Romulos, James Smith, Rose-Marie Tan, Wal, Jonathan Yip และโปรดิวซ์โดย Stereotypes ในขณะนี้กำลังร้อนแรงพุ่งขึ้นมาติด TOP 10 -The Billboard Hot 100 แล้ว ( 24 พฤษภาคม, 2008) ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้พวกเธอให้แฟนเพลงโหวตระหว่าง 2 เพลงคือ Damaged" และ "Pretty Boy" ว่าเพลงไหนควรที่จะมาทำเป็นซิงเกิลแรก และนั่นคือที่มาของ Damaged ซิงเกิลแรกของอัลบั้มที่ 2  Welcome To The Dollhouse  โดยเปิดให้ Download ได้เมื่อ 29 มกราคม 2008
